SENSATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT! HOW PRINCESS CATHERINE OF WALES REACTED BY CHANGING HER IMAGE
It was recently reported that Princess Catherine of Wales is allegedly changing her dressing style because of the TV series The Crown. Is this really the case?
The fact that the Princess of Wales has recently favoured business style and trouser suits, leaving behind romantic dresses, skirts with matching jackets and her favourite dress coats, has been noticed by everyone.
However, there are two versions as to why she is doing this.
The first version, which was already mentioned at the beginning of the video, is voiced by insider Page Six, loudly proclaiming that “Princess won’t let ‘The Crown’ break her.” Elaborating on his point, the insider talks about the fact that the final season of The Crown, the series’ final season about the British royal family, features a young Kate Middleton, played by actress Meg Bellamy, appearing for the first time. According to the source, the real-life Princess of Wales allegedly fears that this could damage her image, so she strengthens her position in advance by changing into stricter clothes.
The source suggested that Prince William of Wales’ wife believes Netflix could make her look like “an extremely privileged young woman who dreams of love,” which is why she is taking steps to bolster her public image, including a wardrobe change.
The insider adds that Princess Catherine is changing her style to win people’s favour and also to get ahead of how she thinks the public’s perception of her might change when the new season of The Crown debuts.
The source also said that since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the Princess of Wales “wants people to see her as a strong leader, someone who can take the title of Queen and wear it with honour in the face of a new generation,” so Her Highness is now working with stylists and other experts to try to revamp her image.
According to the insider, part of the plan involves wearing things like “trousers, more casual shirts and less expensive clothes” as well as “more affordable items.”
On the other hand, American royal expert Kinsey Schofield takes a different viewpoint. Commenting on the Princess of Wales’ new image, she says that when Catherine wears one of her fashionable jackets or suits, it gives her a sense of confidence in her own power.
However, Kinsey Schofield is confident that the British princess’s change in style is not directly related to the TV series The Crown. The expert believes that in fact, the evolution of Her Highness’s style is directly related to the change in her position. Her family has become one step closer to the crown. Catherine is expected to look more mature and regal.
Nevertheless, Kinsey Schofield does not deny that the Princess of Wales is thinking about the impression that her portrayal in The Crown series will make on the public and is considering the possible consequences.
According to the American expert, one way in which Catherine may be trying to combat the idea of being portrayed as a “privileged girl” in The Crown is through her street fashion. She is a princess, but a princess who shops at Zara. The fact that people see Catherine wearing clothes from budget and affordable brands makes her much more appealing to fans of the royal family and shows that she is close enough to the people.
Stylist Lisa Talbot told The Daily Mail that Kate’s hair change was symbolic of her willingness to “embrace a fresh look”.
