The Prince and Princess of Wales are going on holiday with their children after a busy year. According to a royal insider, there will be a beach and holiday for the whole family.

William, Prince of Wales, and his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, who took on new responsibilities with the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of King Charles III, have had a very busy and interesting year. Their Royal Highnesses have attended various events and meetings and their heirs have been diligent at school. And now the long-awaited winter holidays have arrived, when the whole family has the opportunity to relax and spend time together. According to a royal insider, the Prince and Princess of Wales are planning to go on holiday with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. According to the source, the whole family will fly to one of the Commonwealth countries for a holiday after Christmas. There will definitely be a beach and holiday for the whole family.

At the same time, it was reported that William, Prince of Wales, is making a surprise trip abroad just a week before Christmas.

Kensington Palace has announced that the eldest son of King Charles III is travelling to Kuwait on behalf of His Majesty to offer condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the death of His Highness, Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The British royal family has longstanding ties with Kuwait: His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has visited the United Kingdom three times this year: in the spring for the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, in the summer as a guest of the government and in the autumn to meet the British monarch.

The Prince of Wales was joined on the trip by Foreign Secretary David Cameron.

The visit abroad took place when Catherine, Princess of Wales, and her husband probably wanted to spend some time with their three children ahead of the holidays. Friday was the last day of classes before the Christmas break at Lambrook School, where Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis attend. The future King and Queen of Great Britain usually make their schedules less hectic so they can spend as much time as possible with their children during the school holidays.

Members of the royal family are expected to attend a pre-Christmas lunch this week, which is traditionally held every year. Their Royal Highnesses William and Catherine and their children are always welcome guests at the festive event. Last year’s celebration was held at Windsor Castle on 20 December.

Members of the British royal family have a tradition of gathering at Sandringham in Norfolk every year on Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve, the royals have afternoon tea, after which they exchange humorous and inexpensive gifts.

On Christmas Day, the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as other royalty, traditionally attend a Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church. They then attend a festive turkey lunch with a side dish of potatoes, stuffing and vegetables. At 3pm they watch the British monarch’s Christmas speech on TV before having afternoon tea.

Earlier this December, the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, took part in the annual Christmas Carol Concert at Westminster Abbey. The event, hosted by the Princess of Wales, celebrates the festive season as well as a special cause – this year it was linked to Catherine’s ‘Shaping Us’ campaign, which focuses on her important mission to support children in their early years. You will be able to see a recording of this concert on Christmas Eve, but photos have already appeared online. Fans of the royal family were delighted to see the royals at such a meaningful and heartwarming event.

Prince William and Princess Kate will take a “relaxing” break with their three children after their “fraught” 2023, according to a royal insider.

The Prince and Princess of Wales hit the ground running last January as they embraced their new roles following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The pressure of their new positions was heightened by the ongoing feud with Prince Harry, whose memoir Spare came out at the start of the year. In the book, the Duke was heavily critical of both his brother and sister-in-law.

And they concluded their year with yet another wave of accusations from Sussex loyalist Omid Scobie in his recently released book Endgame.

The insider claimed the Prince and Princess of Wales are now eager for a break with their “nuclear family” and said the pair will soon whisk off Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on a holiday.

The family of five will first celebrate the Christmas holidays with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Sandringham for the Royal Family’s traditional get-together.

The insider told US Weekly: “After the holiday, the family will all take a vacation somewhere in the Commonwealth.

“There will be a beach and relaxing for the whole family.”

William and Kate have often treated their three children to family holidays whenever they are off school.

In 2016, George and Charlotte enjoyed their first ski trip to the French Alps with their mum and dad. They have also been frequent visitors to Mustique, the small Caribbean island that once belonged to Princess Margaret.

And in 2019, the family of five jetted off to Jordan to visit the Princess of Wales’s former home before the Middletons settled in the UK in 1986.

The couple will likely use their time off to focus on the family and forget about the issues that have plagued them over the past year.

The source even suggested their Christmas goodwill is unlikely to extend to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because of the continued friction with the couple.

They added: “Kate and William do not plan on sending any gifts or cards to Harry and Meghan. There’s still no relationship there currently.”
