Catherine, Princess of Wales, along with her three children, helped low-income families with children. Her Highness visited the charity centre with her sons and daughter.

The future King and Queen of the United Kingdom is gradually accustoming the children to her role and the attention of the public. Last week, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ children accompanied them to a Christmas service in London. And now Princess Catherine has taken 10-year-old Prince George, 8-year-old Princess Charlotte and 5-year-old Prince Louis to the event. Together they visited a branch of the Children’s Bank in Windsor, which collects gifts and donations for low-income families with children.

Catherine wore a white knitted oversize jumper, skinny jeans and rough-soled boots. George wore a navy blue jumper, blue trousers and trainers. Charlotte appeared in a red jumper, skirt and boots. Louis was dressed in a Fair Isle jumper over a chequered shirt. Before the responsible charity mission, the Princess of Wales told her children that there are a lot of people who give their time at the charity centre. And there are a lot of volunteers who come and help out. Addressing her children Her Highness said: “You are the volunteers for this evening.”

The royal heirs themselves dropped off bags of toys and clothes they had brought to the foundation. Meanwhile, in a rare video released by Kensington Palace, the voices of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ youngest children can be heard.

The eldest child of the future monarchs behaved with restraint. Prince George took the most weighty gifts from the salon of the car. Princess Charlotte couldn’t hide her emotions when she walked into the centre and saw lots of toys. The young princess was delighted. The girl enjoyed helping her mum sort and wrap the presents. In one of the packages she saw a little coat, which she examined with the expert eye of a young fashionista. “So cute!” – Charlotte commented. George and Charlotte also wrote personal wishes on the cards they enclosed in the gift bags.

And most of all, fans of the royal family were cheered by the cheerful disposition of the couple’s youngest child. Louis walked impatiently by the packages and boxes with childlike directness. “Let’s have a look,” he suggested and, without waiting for permission, began to examine the toys with the usual interest of children. He saw a huge King Kong in a box and immediately rushed to show it to his sister.

“Look at the big guy!” – Louis said excitedly. It was obvious that the young prince had a lot of fun during his visit. This is a rare occasion when royal fans were able to hear the voices of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ children.

The royal kids were filmed picking out presents to go in gift bags sent out from a bank near Maidenhead in Berkshire, before choosing clothes that would be given to those in need.

Their visit came as Kate encourages the country to donate items as part of the Christmas Baby Bank Initiative.

In a short video released on the Kensington Palace Youtube channel, she reminds her daughter and two sons that children their age benefit from the banks.

‘What we would like you to do is try and choose some presents for some children who are a similar age to you guys,’ she says.

‘So, if you think about what you would like to play with.’

The Christmas Baby Bank Initiative is being run with the Princess of Wales’ Centre for Early Childhood, which was established in June 2021.

In a post on social media, Kate and William said: ‘Our experiences, relationships and surroundings during early childhood lay foundations that shape the rest of our lives, and future society.

‘Supporting parents and carers, who are providing for their families in challenging circumstances can have a life-changing impact.’

The launch of the new scheme comes two days after the family released their Christmas card picture, which shows them dressed smartly in white shirts.

Some people who saw the picture online spotted some odd quirks, with some even suggesting it was Photoshopped.

The four were filmed arriving before the Princess opened the boot of their car and they all carried in large cardboard boxes of their own private donations.
