King Charles’ Trip To Australia

It’s expected that the King and Queen are going down under next year, with a trip to Australia and New Zealand on the cards. Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed by Buckingham Place, a diplomatic source confirmed the visit to the Sydney Morning Herald. The royal couple have been to Australia a number of times before, most recently travelling there together in 2018 – but this will be King Charles’ first visit to Australia as a monarch. Dates-wise, it’s likely the trip will coincide with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa, a week-long summit starting on 21 October 2024
