YOU’LL BE AMAZED! AT THE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF CATHERINE, PRINCESS OF WALES!

Let’s take a peek with you at the birthday of Catherine, Princess of Wales. How was the mum-of-three’s private celebration?

The wife of William, Prince of Wales turned 42 yesterday. Fans of the royal family can’t wait to find out how the Princess of Wales and the rest of her family celebrated her birthday.

When you’re the future Queen of the United Kingdom and it’s your birthday, you can probably choose posh restaurants, fancy bars and luxury hotels to celebrate. But Catherine’s birthday celebrations seem low-key and modest given her royal status.

Her Highness spent her birthday yesterday surrounded by her family – without any seemingly unusual gifts, although Prince William likes to give his favourite wife lovely presents.

Family life has always taken centre stage for Princess Catherine, and she loves a reason to celebrate. Her 42nd birthday – her second as Princess of Wales – is a good occasion, but all the details are being kept under wraps. The Prince and Princess of Wales value privacy. At the same time, as we know, traditionally the senior members of the royal family only celebrate birthdays in public, so when William and Catherine become King and Queen, we will be able to see and learn more about their birthday celebrations. Even now, though, some details of the celebrations are known.

Catherine’s mum Carole Middleton often joins the princess on school afternoons to watch Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis play football, so she had the opportunity to gather them all for an after-school party at the Middleton family home, Bucklebury Manor.

The seven-bedroom Georgian-style house is perfect for parties, and Catherine’s brother and sister’s families live nearby.

The Princess of Wales loves handmade gifts and doesn’t expect anything extravagant. But the Prince of Wales will give her something special, such as a shot from one of the iconic photographers his wife admires that can be collected.

Meanwhile, birthdays are often a time to reflect on both the past and the future. And it looks like the princess, who has had a rather busy past year, has had a chance to reflect on her upcoming plans for this year.

At the same time, Catherine, Princess of Wales, has much to be excited about.

Charitable projects will always be at the centre of her attention, but now she is also an accomplished diplomat. Catherine can be content looking back on the past year. She has overcome any fears about being in the spotlight and can enjoy playing the piano in front of the camera or making TV appearances with as much confidence as William.

Whether Catherine is congratulating heads of state or members of the royal family such as Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, the Princess of Wales does it as effortlessly as William, the Prince of Wales, who was born for the role. William and Catherine will be among the first to be invited to visit the new King and Queen of Denmark after Queen Margret’s abdication. At 42, the British princess shows all the signs of the perfect future Queen of the United Kingdom.

Princess Kate also received well-wishes from military groups and charities of which she serves as a patron.

“From all Irish Guards, we would like to wish our Regimental Colonel, HRH The Princess of Wales a very happy birthday. Quis Separabit,” the Irish Guards posted on X along with photos of Kate from St. Patrick’s Day last year and her first visit to the regiment after she became honorary Colonel. King Charles gave Kate the position in December 2022.

The National Portrait Gallery honored its patron with a post that featured a photo from her visit in June, while the charity Place2Be thanked the royal for her work supporting children and families.

The Rugby Football League also praised Princess Kate — and her wheelchair rugby skills from a recent visit! “Happy Birthday to our patron, and Wheelchair Rugby League star, Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales!” they captioned a video.

Meanwhile, the Scouts shared a photo of Princess Kate and Prince William with their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis — from May when the whole family stepped out for a volunteering day as part of the coronation weekend festivities. “A very happy birthday to our Joint President, HRH The Princess of Wales. Thanks for all you do for Scouts!” they wrote.

The Big Help Out is a day when people are encouraged to volunteer in their communities. It is part of the celebrations of the Coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as King and Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the other Commonwealth realms that took place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Princess Kate also received well wishes from the V&A, Action for Children, England Rugby, the Royal Parks, the Royal Mint, Ascot Racecourse and more.

Jane Hartley, the U.S. Ambassador to the U.K., also shared a birthday message to the royal on social media, writing, “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales!”

Prince William, 41, and Princess Kate often set aside a weekend at the start of the year to entertain their family and friends for a few days of shooting and other country pursuits in conjunction with Kate’s birthday. The guest list has previously included Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, William’s lifelong friend Tom van Straubenzee and his wife Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe, James Meade and his wife Laura, neighbor and longtime pal Sophie Snuggs and her husband Robert.

In 2021, Kate was treated to a birthday tea party hosted by her husband and kids at Anmer Hall, the family’s country home in Norfolk. Luckily, Prince William knows exactly how to fix the perfect cuppa.

“At the end of the day, she’s in training to be a future queen, but honestly you would never know it,” a source close to Kate previously told PEOPLE. “If you go round to her house, you get a cup of tea, and it’s often William who makes it! It’s a lovely, welcoming house, not a fancy, stuffy palace in any way.”

Like other royal consorts in history, Princess Kate has a toughness behind the scenes as she supports her husband and future king William.

“She has this public image of being nice and smiley and, dare I say, innocuous,” royal author Valentine Low recently told PEOPLE. “But she is actually strong-minded, strong-willed and prepared to fight for what she wants and what she thinks is right.”
