Prince William Spotted at a Nightclub in London Without Kate Middleton
The Prince of Wales was snapped dancing at an EDM-themed night.

Last Friday, after appearing with Kate Middleton at the Royal Ascot, Prince William ditched his top hat and morning suit for a more laid-back outfit for a clubbing night with friends. In footage published by the Daily Mail, the Prince of Wales is spotted at KOKO nightclub in Camden, London, alongside his friends Guy Pelly and James Meade. William, wearing a button-down light blue shirt, holds a beer as he bops his head to the music.
KOKO nightclub, which reopened in April 2022, is a members’ only club. Tatler reports, “It attracts so many high-society names that one punter quips: ‘It’s like Gossip Girl in here.’ Naturally, when it comes to getting in, it’s all about who you know. Becoming a KOKO member is a ‘selective’ process, one insider says. You’ll need a trendy social media presence and a ‘passion’ for music (members are encouraged to donate a vinyl to the club’s record collection). Philistines and straight-shooting financiers? No, thanks. This place is all about creating an edgy and connected community of cognoscenti.”
The evening Prince William was spotted at KOKO was an electronic music-themed night. The night out came just two days after his 41st birthday, and though he was with Kate earlier in the day at Ascot, she was not spotted at the nightclub. Just last month, ahead of the Coronation Concert in celebration of King Charles’s coronation, William joked to a well-wisher that “dancing sober is always a bad idea.”
The two friends William was pictured with are longtime members of his inner circle. Pelly is Prince Louis’s godfather, and Meade is Princess Charlotte’s godfather.
