Prince William Is Still In Shock Over King Charles’ Cancer Diagnosis

It’s going to take a very long time to deal with all of the changes that are about to come for the royal family. There’s a new report that says Prince William is still digesting the shock from King Charles’ cancer diagnosis.

While the palace hasn’t specified what kind of cancer the King of England is battling with, he has canceled all of his future royal engagements and public appearances until further notice.

According to the Daily Mail, Prince William knows that he has to step up to the plate, but the timing couldn’t be any worse. That’s because he’s also dealing with his own wife Kate Middleton and her health woes, too.

King Charles is not pressuring his son to increase his workload. At least not right away. One source close to the situation said: “In some royal circles, however, there is a slight sense of bewilderment at William’s determination to so fiercely protect his boundaries when it comes to his diary.”

The tipster also said that Prince William “is still digesting the shock of his father’s diagnosis” so soon after Kate’s abdominal surgery.”

A separate royal source told The Times: “At times like this, it is a reminder that as well as being the future head of state, he is also a human being. He is processing the news of his father having cancer as a human being. Given the seriousness with which he takes his role, of course it is something he will be thinking about.”
