No MATTER What: Here’s HOW Catherine, Princess of Wales, Will CELEBRATE Prince Louis’ Birthday
Catherine, Princess of Wales, is undergoing chemotherapy. Despite this, she decided not to break tradition and throw a party on Prince Louis’ birthday.
As you know, William, Prince of Wales, and his wife are raising three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The youngest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales will celebrate his birthday on April 23 – he will be six years old.
The future Queen of Great Britain usually takes her own photos, which Kensington Palace publishes as official portraits on the birthdays of the couple’s children. She also organizes themed parties for her sons and daughter according to their hobbies. This year will be no exception. The Princess of Wales intends to organize a party for Louis, despite undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. Even despite cancer treatment, children remain the top priority for Catherine.
The photos show Louis in Windsor, where the Wales family lives.
The photos were taken earlier in April by Millie Pilkington, a U.K.-based photographer, according to Kensington Palace.
Images released for Louis’ birthday last year showed him playing in the sand while wearing a gray sweater with different-colored stars emblazoned across it.
Photos from prior years showed him riding on his bike before his first day of nursery school for his third birthday, making colorful handprint art for his second birthday and, for his first birthday, flashing a smile for the camera.
Louis’ birthday comes just two days after what would have been his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s 97th birthday. The late monarch died last September at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
The young prince’s birthday also comes nearly two weeks prior to the coronation of his grandfather King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
