A shake-up by King Charles III could mean that his grandson, Prince Louis could receive a new royal title.

Currently only aged five, the young royal is now fourth in line to the throne – behind his father and two elder siblings.

With his elder brother Prince George, 10, is set to become King one day, Louis could also be set for a very already-familiar title.

Just last March, on his 59th birthday, Prince Edward was bestowed the title of Duke of Edinburgh by his brother, King Charles III.

When Edward passes away, the Duke of Edinburgh title cannot be passed down to his son – meaning that it could be given to Louis.

Prince George is set to become King one day and Princess Charlotte could become Princess Royal – the title currently held by Princess Anne.

It has previously been speculated that Louis could, however, be granted the title of Duke of York – the title currently held by Prince Andrew.

This title is typically used for the second-born son of a monarch, meaning Louis could be given the title once Prince William ascends the throne.

Princess Royal is the title given to the eldest daughter of the reigning-monarch, although is still held by Princess Anne.
